RF2 Ballistic Plate – Our Minimum Standard

Our RF2 plate is tested against:

✔ 5.56×45 M855 ✔ 7.62×51 M80 ✔ 7.62×39 MSC ✔ 5.56×45 M193

Every round is tested with 6 shots, and all BFD results are under 44 mm.

Some brands only focus on no penetration or test just 2–3 BFD impacts. For us, that's not enough.

A true RF2 plate should prove it can stop both M855 and M80.

6-shot M855 + 6-shot M80 is simply our minimum standard.

Because your life is worth more than a ballistic plate.

This is the padding system specified by one of our overseas customers, and it will soon become our standard setup as well.

Currently: • FAST helmet – 3-pad configuration • MICH helmet – 4-pad configuration

The new honeycomb impact pads provide excellent shock absorption. In our drop test, a 5kg steel ball showed impressive impact reduction performance.

We'll be sharing the customer-requested test reports soon, so stay tuned!

Another Milestone for Our RF3 Ballistic Plate! 💪

Our RF3 ballistic plate has successfully passed the 5.56×45mm M995 AP test following the ESAPI CO/PD 04-19 Rev. J protocol.

Compared with the NIJ RF3 test, the ESAPI test is even more demanding, with shot locations closer to the plate edge and a 30° angled impact for the third shot.

Results: ✅ 3 rounds stopped ✅ Backface deformation (BFD) under 25 mm on all shots ✅ Meets our internal performance standard

In the ballistic industry, performance is proven by independent, internationally accredited laboratories. Test reports "not marketing videos" are what customers around the world trust.

We're proud to keep raising the standard for reliable ballistic protection.

Fresh off the press—our NIJ 0101.07 RF3 test report is here!

According to the NIJ 0101.07 RF3 standard, the .30-06 M2 AP ballistic test requires only one shot. Today, most brands serving the global law enforcement market also conduct a single-shot test, with a Backface Deformation (BFD) of less than 44 mm to meet the standard.

At YingShi International, we hold ourselves to a higher standard.

Our in-house testing requirements: • 3-shot .30-06 M2 AP test • BFD below 40 mm

This test was conducted as a production lot acceptance test for a European customer, and the armor plates successfully met our internal performance requirements.

Next, the plates will undergo testing against the 5.56×45 mm M995 Armor-Piercing round to further validate their ballistic performance.

We remain committed to delivering reliable, high-performance ballistic protection through rigorous testing and uncompromising quality standards.

Our workshop, warehouse, and screen-printing studio are packed with tens of thousands of HG2/IIIA soft armor core panels waiting for final printing before shipment. 📦

These panels are scheduled to be packed and shipped overseas by sea freight this month.

Although this product is designed to meet the NIJ 0101.07 HG2 standard, the customer's requirements are actually different from the latest NIJ specifications. The new standard was officially implemented last year after a six-month transition period following its announcement in November of the year before.

Every customer has unique requirements, and we're committed to delivering exactly what they need. 💪

Now comes with upgraded honeycomb pads (3 pcs/set), plus a set of the original pads included.

Mix and match to create your preferred setup. The new honeycomb design offers better shock absorption, improved breathability, and a softer, more comfortable fit.

Small upgrade, big difference.😎

This round of testing was conducted because one of our suppliers changed the raw material lot number. According to our internal quality control procedures, whenever a new material lot arrives, random samples must be selected for verification testing.

The tests focused on RF1 and RF2 ballistic plates, evaluating Backface Deformation (BFD) using M80 ammunition.

Our internal quality standard requires BFD to be less than 40 mm, which is even stricter than the NIJ 0101.07 requirement of less than 44 mm. The test results speak for themselves.

At Yingshi, every time a raw material supplier or component supplier changes a production lot, we conduct additional testing to ensure consistent performance and quality. This level of verification is the minimum responsibility we believe a ballistic protection manufacturer should uphold.

Quality is not a claim, it's a process.
